Dear Weary Friend,

You are seen and heard.

"The eyes of the LORD are toward the righteous and his ears toward their cry." Psalm 43:15

You are not forgotten.

"When I thought, "My foot slips," your steadfast love, O LORD, held me up. When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul." Psalm 94:18-19

You are valued.

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. but even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows." Matthew 10:29-31

You are loved.

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him." 1 John 3:1

I know, you are so tired right now.

You are searching for the Light.

Right now the waves and the storm clouds seem to overshadow it.

But the Light is there.

The darkness will not...it cannot...overcome the light.

You feel like your cries are falling on deaf ears.

They are not.

It's okay to rest.

Let your brothers and sisters in Jesus know you are struggling.

God created His bride to care for one another. Let us care for you.

Hold tightly to His Word.

Read it, listen to it, cling to it.

When I was in a prolonged season of weariness, I slept with His beautiful Words under my pillow.

Cry out to Him.

Cry out in sorrow, sadness, anger, frustration, weariness.

The One who knows your struggles wants to hear from you.

And when  you have done all of this, take one small step.

Then do it all again.

We are not promised that He will calm all storms...but we are promised He will get us through them.

So cling to Him and take that next, tiny step.

And with Him, you will find rest for your weary soul.

"Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."

Matthew 11:28-30
