The Bible is full of examples and stories telling and showing us God’s desire to be known.

It is so important that He came to earth in a form that we can understand. He walked our streets. Ate our food. Was tempted by our temptations. And suffered our pain.

Why?

Because He wants us to know Him.

He wants a relationship with us.

So many times we make it about everything other than that.

We make it about saving ourselves from hell. Working ourselves to heaven. Being chosen. Having freewill. Who is the greatest? Who is the least?

Today, I want to encourage you to awaken and take hold of the One practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness. Because….In this is His delight.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.
